Karumadikkuttan is a name of Lord Budhha statue located in Karumady Kerala. Karumady is a village three km east of Ambalappuzha in Alappuzha District of Kerala State. The statue of Buddha is made up of black granite statue . The statue is believed to be 9th – 14th century and was in the stream flowwing nearby . It was discovered by Sir Robert Bristow a british Engineer who established the Willingdon Island.
Only half part of the statue ws dicovered other half of the statue have been missing and presently is under the State Government of Kerala.
