By Air– Cochin International Airport is the nearest airport to Idukki . There are many bus services form nearby cities to Munnar and Chithipuram as these are famous hill station of Kerala that is visited by thousand of tourists.
By Train–Kottayam about 114 km, Theni about 60km and Changanassery about 95 km are the nearest railway stations to the Idukki city. From Idukki there are various bus services to Chithipuram via Munnar .
