National Games is one of the most important sports event of the country and are organised since 1940. This time Kerala is going to hold the National Games for a second time during the year 2014. 35th National Games will be a boon for further development of sports in Kerala in the coming years. The first occasion was in 1987 when the 27th National Games was held at Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Alappuzha, Kochi, Thrissur and Kollam.
It will create awareness among the sporting youth that training under modern facilities can create the required talent for competing in national or international events.
