Hotel Merlin International is a part of the Merlin Group of Thrissur which was founded by V. L. Ittiachen, a great visionary and Businessman. The Hotel was established in 1948 in the name “The Oriental State Hotel” on a sprawling 4 acre property in the heart of Thrissur City. The Hotel was one of the favourite destination for the visiting dignitaries and travelers as well as for the local population as it was one of the first buildings to be build with cement and modern building material in Thrissur.

The Hotel is revamped and refurbished to have a chic look and ultra modern comforts both in the interior and exterior without loosing its old charm and heritage.
