Kettuvalams the wooden snake boat races are used in the race which is saild by 100 of oarsmen to comptete against each other. The snake boat race is a great experience to watch when so many teams fromKerala fight for one trophy with thier full zest and zeal and people watching it starts shouting along to motivate their teams.

• Reach Alappuzha before 11 AM and occupy your seats.
• Boat Services will not be available from 12 Noon.
• Boat Services will be available from 10 AM to 12 Noon
• Purchase tickets from authorized retail outlets (through Govt. depts. And tourism information office– authorized ticket counter)
• Please check the tickets for authorized seal of the committee and serial number
• Authorized counters can be identified with banners having logo of NTBR
• Show your tickets at the entrance of the boat jetty and also at the entrance of the pavilion
