Vatanappally Beach

Vatanappally Beach is located in Vadanapally a small coastal village situated on the coastal belt of Thrissur district, about 20 km from Thrissur town.The coast is lined with beautiful patches of coral reef rimmed by lush green coconut palms. Vatanappally Beach is one of the very few beaches of Kerala that have the beautiful formation of coral reef and offers a serene views uniquely exquisite in itself.

Beach is very neat and clean away from the city life and one can enjoy swimming, surfing and sun bathing. The beach linked with exotic backwaters, houseboat along the coconut palm fringed backwaters. Beach is not so visited by the tourist here and is ideal for peaceful vacation and relaxing . Vanchia is a local boat of this area which is very famous as it provides backwater facility in this area. backwater of Vadanappilly is must to do as it will give you opportunity ti have a closer look of the " God’s Own Country ".Durga devi temple, South Juma Masjid, St.Fransics church and Beach are nearby tourist attractions.

How to Reach Vatanappally Beach

By Air– Cochin International Airport is located about 90 km from Thrissur city.

By Road– Thrissur is located about 18 km from the beach and is well connected by the other cities of the state Kerala.

By Train–Thrissur Railway Station is located in the Thrissur town . From railway station one can reach beach via buses or through auto and cabs.
