Pattanakkad– Pattanakkad is a small place in Cherthala town located about 6 km from town.Pattanakkad Mahadeva temple a popular temple is also located here which is believed to be one of 108 Shiva temples built by Hindu Warrior saint Parasurama.
Thiruvizha– Thiruvizha is located about 5 km from Cherthala. It is famous for Shiva temple. Temple is famous for its offering to devotees which is believed to possess medicinal and curative properties for mental illness.
