Day Trip at Gavi

Cost – Rs 1000 Per Person , Full Board

Morning (8.00- 8.30 AM): Register yourself and your family or friends at KFDC for a day trip. Get recharged with good breakfast. The day starts with trekking through the forest under trained guide to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Gavi.

Noon(12.30): Return from trekking for a sumptuous south Indian vegetarian lunch. The adventurous first half of the day is balanced with a relaxing row boat ride after lunch. Then proceed for a visit to the cardamom plantation and inhale aromatic whiffs of cardamom and then to the curing house. Sabarimala viewpoint is the next spot in the itinerary, the scenic beauty spot to capture the panoramic view of the Sabarimala hills and the pilgrim spot. Later proceed to the Museum where the skeletons of the animals are preserved.

Evening: Return to the registration spot after a day full of adventure and enjoyable sightseeing. Indulge yourself for to a refreshing tea break before dispersing at 4.30 pm.

Boat Ride at Kochupamba

Cost– Rs 400 for four Person

Go boating on the crystal clear Kochupamba to take home memory of a lifetime that remains as clear as the Kochupamba lake. Row boating facility is available at Kochupamba. Tourist wearing lifejackets is a must. Rowing along the emerald hued natural backdrop is a welcome change from everyday monotony. Get adventurous spirit at Kochupamba.

Green Mansion Jungle Lodge

Check in and Check out: Preferably by noon by 2 pm and check out after 24 hour or 2pm on the following day whichever is earlier.

Start the day adventurously by trekking through the forest under trained guide to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Gavi. After lunch go for a relaxing row boat and then proceed for a visit to the cardamom plantation and inhale aromatic whiffs of cardamom and then to the curing house. Return to the Green Mansion for night stay. Sleep in the serenity of the woods away from the fast life of the city. Wake up early for a Jeep safari through the forest for 2 ½ hours to catch a glimpse of wildlife and exotic birds. Check out after the safari.

Swiss Cottage Tent

Stay in permanently pitched cottage tents in forest with attached bath room.

Check in and Check out: Preferably by noon by 2 pm and check out after 24 hour or 2pm on the following day whichever is earlier.

Jungle Camping

For the most adventurous ones who would love to spend a night in the deep forest can pack their bags for a night stay in portable small tents. Guides and helpers will accompany the guests. Streaming hot and delicious dinner will be prepared at the camp and served to the guest.
